When the facility is operating at full capacity, Severstal Columbus anticipates that the company will have 450 employees in the plant, as well as representatives sited throughout a 12-state service area.
Severstal Columbus is now accepting applications online for production and maintenance jobs at the steel plant now under construction. Candidates must complete an application through the Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES) Website at www.mdes.ms.gov. Applications can be submitted from any computer with an internet connection, or go to any WIN Job Center to complete an application. Click here for a list of WIN Job Centers in Mississippi.
Note: If you have already submitted a resume, it will be considered for salaried positions only. A candidate must complete an application through the MDES web site to be considered for an hourly position.
