New Process Steel – based in Houston, Texas – has facilities in six Midwest and Southern states and in Mexico. Begun as a sheet metal shop in 1906, New Process Steel brings a century of experience to processing and distributing coated products to multiple industries.
New Process Steel will build a 150,000 square foot downstream processing facility for light gauge (.130” and lighter) pickle, cold roll and galvanized products. Equipment at the facility will include two slitters and blanking line, all with 72” wide capacity. The facility is expected to be up and running in early 2008.
