A portion of my Severstal Columbus for Employees is now available for access and use. In order to access the employee site, you must be registered and approved. Take the first step now by clicking on the “register” link here or in the column to the right. Your registration will be submitted to Severstal Columbus’s HR department and approved within three working days. You will receive an approval via e-mail, with a temporary password.
My Severstal Columbus for employees now includes three sections:
- A roster of current employees, with phone numbers and company e-mail addresses. You can add to your information by creating a personal biography.
- The official Severstal Columbus Employee Manual and Company Policies are posted for viewing.
- Please keep in mind that this portal is yet to be enabled, and the final format may contain minor changes in organization or description. Registered employees will be notified by e-mail when this portal is activated.
- Benefits information – in particular, the Severstal Columbus health coverage -- is also posted for viewing
This is your section of the my Severstal Columbus site, where you can share information with other employees, find out what’s happening inside the Severstal Columbus family, keep up to date on company policies and practices, and post classifieds and notices to other members of our extended family. The sub-tabs – shown above in the gray band – will enable you to interact online with Severstal Columbus, your fellow employees and the community at large. In addition to the Biography, Connectivity, Employee Manual and Benefit tabs described above, there will be four new tabs:

- News & Notes, where you can read Severstal Columbus’s about Severstal Columbus news. It’s an ongoing chronicle of what’s happening with and within the extended Severstal Columbus family.
- SeverList: a “classifieds” section for use by the Severstal Columbus family. Want to sell a bicycle your son just outgrew…post it on SeverList. Need a bicycle for your youngster…find it on SeverList. Know someone who mows lawns or delivers firewood…make sure the Severstal Columbus family can find them.
- Vote! will provide citizenship information, especially how to exercise your rights and privileges as local, state and American citizens.
- Community Service provides a free-floating forum for interacting with our little corner of the New South: places to go, things to see and do, ways to help make it better.
